This Silicone Gel For Scar is mainly composed of a dressing made from cyclopentasiloxane, silica, dimethicone, polymethylsilsesquioxane, and recombinant collagen.
Applicable Range:
This Silicone Gel for Scars is suitable for preventing and assisting in the treatment of scar formation caused by burns, trauma, and surgical procedures.
Usage Instructions:
Use after the wound has scabbed and the scab has fallen off; do not use on unhealed wounds or inflamed areas.
Apply gently to the scar area in a thin layer and let it air dry naturally; it can be applied once in the morning and once at night.
For new wounds, use as a preventive measure for 2-3 months; for old scars, continuous use for more than 6 months is required.
Recombinant Collagen - Bioactive Membrane:
The bioactive membrane enhances the sealing properties of the silicone gel, ensuring high hydration and creating a moist environment conducive to scar maturation.
Reduces moisture evaporation from the scar surface, transfers moisture to the stratum corneum, reduces water-soluble substances in the interstitium, and significantly decreases water vapor transmission rate, thus softening scar tissue.
Alleviates inflammation and itching, and regulates the orderly arrangement of collagen in scar tissue.
Silicone - Physical Protective Film:
Silicone gel for scar provides a sealing effect and hydration, accumulating moisture to soften the scar.
Inhibits excessive proliferation of fibroblasts and disordered collagen arrangement.
Constricts blood vessels, reducing pigmentation.
